What I noticed is that the couples who show most PDA end up breaking up and not last so long (this is excluding the honeymoon phase, I’m talking about much AFTER that phase). The couple that last long are those who show the least. Some don’t even show any because they don’t feel the need to or even want to. I notice these are the most modest of couples but they do lead into a ton of misunderstanding. 

Those who break up then later decide to come back sometimes make no sense. Why bother leaving your partner when you’ll end up going back to him/her. Right, there are many reasons, but I don’t see the logic of leaving that partner in order for you to fulfill those reasons. 

When I was in high school, dating and breaking up was happening on a daily basis. It’s true what our parents told us after all. Of course, there are your occasional high school sweethearts who mature at an early age and end up marrying one another due to their full understanding of one another. But they’re called high school sweethearts for a reason. Per say you’ve already graduated from high school and is in your second year of college. How many people do you know are are still going out with someone they started dating with in high school? That number is small for a reason.

The most healthiest couples I see are around their mid 20’s. It’s when guys become real men and wishes a commitment with a full grown mature woman. But before the whole ring and marriage, I see this;

I see how each lives their own life separately and happy but are only complete with their other half.

Each partner is striving to work hard and shine brightly with a positive attitude. They can live without the partner for a few hours, days, months. Sure, they will miss one another but it doesn’t stop them from living their everyday lives with a real smile. 

I hope I will experience that amount of completeness very soon. It’s way too early for me to think of marriage. I want to improve myself and grow naturally before I want a full commitment with the man I love.

Makes me love my life. I strive to make ends meet.

In the past, I closed the world from being close to me. I didn’t let anyone in nor did I even make any effort to make new friends. I was alone and afraid. Afraid people won’t like me because of my strange hobbies/obsession with anime or video games. Alone because whenever someone disapproves of what I like, I easily fell into their desires than standing up for my own.

I made sure when I entered college, it won’t be a repeat of high school.

I say I’m pretty proud of myself. I manage to find a balance between social life, school, and sleep. I manage to talk to have small conversations with friends and keep up to date about their lives. 

I enjoy the company I have every moment. I found the friends that wouldn’t mind about my hobbies. They like me for me and how I always manage to get along with them. We either play games together, have talks, or even just hang out. 

I’m really happy. :D

So I kinda noticed a trend.

If he calls early, we can have a talk.

If he calls late, he wants to sleep early. Meaning no talk.

… Kinda sucks when I wait for his late calls and all it is, is a “Good Night”.
